二回前のブログで桜の話を書いてから、一気に季節が進んでしまい、既に猛暑の日々に突入してしまった。元々クーラーは苦手なタイプで、家ではほとんど扇風機、エアコンを入れてもドライを使うくらいだったのが、今はどうにも耐えられなくなってしまった。独居なので、一人で倒れてしまってもまずいので、やせ我慢せずに限界に至る前にクーラーを入れるようにした。 逆にオーストラリアは、今は真冬だ。シドニー、メルボルン辺りだと東京ほど寒くなることはない。特にシドニーはここのところの気温を見ていても、最高気温が２０℃近い日もあり、太陽が出ていれば、そこそこ暖かいのではないだろうか。一方メルボルンはと言えば、気温を見ると最高気温は１０℃台には乗ってくるのに、何故か東京よりも寒く感じることが多かった。それはひとえに南氷洋から直接吹いて来るように感じる寒風と、家の密閉性が低く、暖房設備がショボいことが原因だったように思う。 »
